Step into the shoes of a filmmaker and create your own movie world! Families will experiment with props, and see how small details can completely transform a scene. Drop in anytime to play and explore. Perfect for ages 5–105, this interactive workshop celebrates creativity, imagination, and the magic of storytelling through set design.

Step into the world of film design! Kids and families will craft mini movie sets, experiment with props and lighting, and discover how a scene’s look can tell a story.
Designed for ages 5–105, this open-house program encourages hands-on experimentation and playful creativity, giving participants a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the art of filmmaking.

Meet the Organizer
The Cleveland History Center (CHC) headquarters for Western Reserve Historical Society, houses exhibits that tell the story of Northeast Ohio through items, documents and artifacts from a variety of collections. Through the use of its vast and varied collections in the areas of family history, community history, entrepreneurship, and technological innovation, Cleveland History Center provides the public with a much-needed sense of place in today’s mobile society, and a base for learning about invention and ingenuity that can be transferred into modern economic expansion.
