The Cleveland History Center, home of the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum and Cleveland Starts Here®, sponsored by the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation, will reopen on Friday, July 24 for members only and Saturday, July 25 for the public.
Hours at each museum will be 10:00 am to 4:00 pm with the first hour reserved daily for at-risk visitors. Advance timed tickets will be required with the final ticket sold at 3pm. Face masks will be required.
Additional opening information and visitor guidelines will be available at www.wrhs.org.
WRHS’s reopening playbook, the Restart Plan, has been developed in close consultation with legal counsel, arts and culture leaders, and following guidance from local health experts, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and Ohio’s Responsible Restart Ohio guidance for Consumer, Retail, Services and Entertainment. Our plan continues to place the highest priority on the health and safety of our employees and guests, including requirements for face coverings for employees and visitors, no contact transactions, advance timed-entry ticket sales, increased access to sanitizing stations, enhanced cleaning protocols, physical distancing signage, and more.
Although museums are permitted to reopen after June 10, restrictions on large crowds remain in place. While our experiences may look different this year, experiences will continue to be stimulating, educational, and entertaining.
